How to List Cards
From Your Inventory (Recommended for Bulk)
Go to your inventory and select the cards you want to sell
Set your price for each item โ you'll see market reference prices from Cardmarket (EU) or TCGPlayer (NA) to help you price competitively
Confirm the condition โ this should already be set from when you added the card to your inventory
Add photos (optional but recommended) โ photos build buyer trust, especially for higher-value cards
Publish โ your listings go live on the marketplace immediately
You can list individual cards or use bulk actions to list multiple items at once. Select several cards from your inventory and list them all in one go. This is the most efficient way to list many cards.
Quick Search Listing (For Individual Cards)
You can also sell a single card directly from the marketplace. Use the search bar to find the card, open its product page, and click Sell This Card. This is ideal when you want to post one or two cards quickly without opening your full inventory.
Listing Graded Cards
CardNexus supports professionally graded cards (slabs) from services like PSA, Beckett, CGC, and more. When listing a graded card, you'll enter the grading service and grade number โ no need to assess condition yourself. For more details, see Card Condition Explained.
What Buyers See
When you list a card, it becomes searchable on the marketplace. Buyers can find your listing by:
Searching for the card name
Browsing by game, expansion, or set
Filtering by condition, language, finish, and price range
Your listing shows your price, the card's condition, language, finish, and any photos you've uploaded. Buyers can also see your seller rating if you've completed previous sales.
Pricing Tips
Check reference prices โ CardNexus shows market prices from Cardmarket and TCGPlayer so you can price competitively
Condition matters โ a Near Mint card commands a higher price than Lightly Played. Make sure your condition grading is accurate
Photos help sell โ listings with photos tend to sell faster, especially for cards above a few euros/dollars
Shipping is separate โ buyers pay shipping on top of your listed price, based on your shipping rates
Condition Is Key
Accurate condition grading is one of the most important things you can do as a seller. Misgraded cards lead to disputes and unhappy buyers.
Make sure you understand the condition scale before listing:
Near Mint (NM) โ Like new, minimal to no wear
Lightly Played (LP) โ Minor edge wear or small scratches
Moderately Played (MP) โ Noticeable wear, small creases
Heavily Played (HP) โ Significant wear, major creases
Damaged (D) โ Major damage affecting the card's structure
For a detailed breakdown with examples, see our Card Condition Guide.
Listing a card in better condition than it actually is will likely result in a dispute. When in doubt, grade conservatively โ buyers appreciate honesty.
What Happens When a Card Sells
When a buyer purchases your card:
You receive a notification
Your inventory updates automatically โ the sold item is removed from your active listings
You have 5 business days to confirm and ship the order
No manual stock management needed โ CardNexus handles it for you.
Fees
Sellers pay a commission on each completed order:
The fee is deducted automatically from your payout โ you never pay upfront. For full details, see the Fee Structure Overview.
