📂 Reserved vs. Tracking Lists

Two ways to build lists—depending on how you play (or sort).

This feature will let you choose how each list behaves:

  • Tracking Lists: These automatically check your full inventory to see what you already own. Perfect for keeping tabs on what you’re missing in a deck, a set, or a trade goal—without manually assigning cards.

  • Reserved Lists: These let you assign specific cards to a list, locking them in so they’re not shared across multiple reserved lists. Great when you need precision—like prepping decks or setting cards aside for trade.

Whether you prefer flexible tracking or full control, the choice is yours.

    Hello !

    Same problem here,

I want to track both my collection’s lists (which item do I own)

And where do I own them.

For instance, I’m building a cube with cards I already own (a playset) in my collection.

I do own 5 instance of the cards, but when I create a “cube” list cards displays as already owned (as I own 4 in my binder).

I have to systematically update the inventory by one, card by card.

A better way to represent this would be “tags” or “list” into the inventory to represent physical seggregation.

An virtual list (as of today) to represent owned sets.

    Separate Inventory for Lists

Hey, I'm using the lists feature to separate my different binders for different parts of my collection. Like I'm doing a binder for one of every champ from League.

These cards will obviously be present in their set respective binder/list. Is there a way to individually track inventory for this?

Right now, if I add the card to one binder it says 1/1 on both lists. Thanks!

    Automatically Updating Trade List

I want it to be easy to update my trade list when i either import new elements into my collection OR I build a new deck. Some way to have a tradelist automatically know what I have but am not using.

Hey! So right now, your inventory already syncs with your lists — whenever you add new cards, they’ll automatically show up in the right places. At the moment though, cards can still overlap between lists, which I know isn’t always ideal when you’re trying to keep things clean. The good news is that we’re working on a Tracking Lists feature to fix that! You can follow it here: https://feedback.cardnexus.com/p/openfilefolder-reserved-vs-tracking-lists

I love the tracking collection one. Would love to have it be able to like subtract what I have in decks so I could kind of attempt to maintain an inventory via a tradelist.

    Hey @trillerr
Thanks for your feedback, really useful!
We’re exploring a way to support multiple lists with shared cards between them (like we currently have), along with another system that allows you to reserve a card in a specific list, so you can better track where each card is.
