Receiving and answering offers
Buyers can propose a price for your cards — accept, decline, counter, or turn offers off entirely.
Last updated 2 days ago
Buyers with your cards in their cart can send you an offer below your listed total (down to 40% off at most). You always decide what happens next.
When an offer arrives
You're notified — "[buyer] sent you an offer" — by email, push and in-app. The email shows the listed value, the offered amount, and the buyer's message if they wrote one. Click Respond to offer, or open the chat widget's Offers tab (on mobile: the Offers inbox).
Your three options
Accept offer — the deal is on, see below
Decline — the buyer can still buy everything at your listed price
Make a counter offer — propose your own price, per card, anywhere up to your listed price (never above it). The buyer can accept, decline, or send you another offer
While a negotiation is open, your cards stay listed — if someone else buys them at full price first, the offer is simply voided.
If you leave offers unanswered, we'll nudge you: "You have N offers waiting." Open offers don't expire on their own, so it's worth answering — even with a decline.
After you accept
The agreed copies are reserved for the buyer for 48 hours, at the agreed price
If they don't check out in time, the cards return to sale automatically — you don't have to do anything
Your commission is calculated on the agreed price, not the original listing price
Repricing your listings later never breaks an already-accepted deal
💡 Tip: A counter-offer often closes the gap — many buyers just want to feel they got a deal.
Turning offers off (and back on)
Offers are on by default for every seller. If you'd rather sell only at your listed prices:
Go to Settings → Selling
Find the Offers on your listings section
Toggle Allow offers off (or back on) — the same setting exists on mobile
If you turn offers off while you have open offers, a warning sums it up: open offers are closed, but accepted deals stay reserved and the buyer can still check them out. Turning offers back on later doesn't revive closed ones — buyers just make new offers.
Also good to know: pausing your entire shop voids your open offers, and those can't be brought back when you return. And with offers off, buyers simply see no offer button on your section of their cart — nothing about your listings looks "disabled".
