Understanding Prices
How market reference prices and seller pricing work on CardNexus — and what makes up your total at checkout.

Market Reference Prices
Every card on CardNexus displays a market price pulled from the largest TCG marketplaces in the world:
These market prices are updated regularly and include low, mid, and market value data points. They serve as a benchmark — a reference point so you can tell whether a listing is priced competitively.
Market prices are reference data only and are not binding. They reflect what cards are selling for on other platforms, giving you useful context — but actual prices on CardNexus are set by individual sellers.
While we do our best to provide accurate market data, price references are sourced automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies — for example, if a card is mapped to the wrong product on a source platform, or if data is temporarily unavailable. Always use market prices as a general guide and compare multiple listings before making a purchase.
Seller Pricing
Every listing on CardNexus is priced by the seller. Sellers can set any price they want — above, at, or below the market reference. You'll see both the seller's price and the market price on every product page, so you can easily compare.
Prices vary between sellers based on:
Card condition — Near Mint commands a premium over Lightly Played or Moderately Played
Language — depending on the game, certain languages can command higher or lower prices
Finish — Foils and special variants usually cost more
Seller reputation — established sellers with high ratings may price slightly higher
Supply and demand — popular cards or scarce printings will cost more
Currencies
CardNexus supports two currencies, determined by where the seller is located:
All prices, fees, and shipping costs are displayed in the seller's currency. Each checkout is limited to a single currency — you can't mix EUR and USD items in one cart.
For more on how regions work, see Currencies and Regions.
Price Trends
On every product page, you'll find a price history chart showing how the card's market price has moved over time. You can view 7-day, 30-day, and all-time trends to spot whether a card is trending up or down.
CardNexus also features a Daily Movers section that highlights the biggest price winners and losers across the catalog — great for collectors and investors who want to stay on top of market shifts.
Understanding Your Total at Checkout
The price you see on a listing is just the card price. Your final total at checkout will also include:
Shipping — calculated per seller based on your location and order size
Buyer service fee — 2.5% + a small fixed fee (€0.30 or $0.30) applied once per checkout
Both are clearly shown before you confirm your payment. For a full breakdown of fees, see Fee Structure Overview
