How CardNexus Protects Buyers
When you buy on CardNexus, your money and your purchase are protected at every step. Here's how.

Your Money Is Held Safely Until You're Happy
CardNexus uses a full escrow system. When you pay at checkout, your money is captured by Stripe but not sent to the seller. It stays held by CardNexus until:
Your order is delivered
You confirm you received everything in good condition
A safety period passes
Only then are funds released to the seller. If something goes wrong, your money is still there โ ready to be refunded.
The seller never has your money until the transaction is fully complete. This is fundamentally different from platforms where sellers receive payment immediately.
Automatic Safeguards
We don't just rely on good faith โ the platform has built-in automation to protect you:
If the Seller Doesn't Ship
Orders that aren't shipped within 5 business days are automatically cancelled and you receive a full refund. No action needed on your part.
If the Seller Doesn't Respond to Your Cancellation
When you request a cancellation, the seller has 48 hours to respond. If they don't, the cancellation is automatically approved and you're refunded.
If You Forget to Confirm Receipt
After your order is delivered, you have 7 days to confirm receipt or open a dispute. If you don't take action, the order is automatically completed. This is a safety window โ use it to inspect your cards before the transaction finalizes.
Always inspect your cards when they arrive. If something isn't right, open a dispute within the 7-day window after delivery.
Real-Time Order Tracking
Every order on CardNexus has tracking built in. Once the seller ships, you can follow your package directly from your order page. We support 1,200+ shipping carriers worldwide, so no matter how the seller ships, you'll have visibility.
Tracking also powers our automated protections โ we know when a package is actually delivered, which helps resolve disputes and prevent fraud.
Structured Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong with your order โ wrong cards, damaged items, missing cards, or counterfeits โ our dispute system has your back.
How It Works
You open a dispute from your order page, describing the issue and uploading evidence (photos are strongly recommended)
The seller proposes a resolution โ this could be a full refund, partial refund, or a return
You review the proposal and accept or decline it
If you can't agree, the dispute automatically escalates to the CardNexus team after 2 business days
Our team reviews the evidence from both sides and makes a final, binding decision
Disputes are evidence-based. The better your documentation (photos of what you received, screenshots of the listing), the faster we can resolve your issue.
What You Can Dispute
Item not received
Wrong item sent
Item condition doesn't match the listing
Damaged during shipping
Counterfeit or resealed product
Fraud Prevention
Behind the scenes, CardNexus runs automated fraud detection on every transaction. We look for patterns like account collusion, suspicious tracking data, and unusual transaction behavior. If something looks off, our team is alerted immediately and can intervene before funds are released.
We also enforce a minimum holding period on all transactions โ even if an order is completed quickly, funds aren't released to sellers until enough time has passed for any issues to surface.
Our fraud detection runs automatically on every transaction. You don't need to do anything โ the system is always watching.
Fair Reviews with No Retaliation
CardNexus uses a double-blind review system. After a transaction completes, both buyer and seller can leave a review โ but neither side can see the other's review until both have submitted (or the review window closes after 7 days).
This means you can leave an honest review without worrying about retaliation. If you received cards in worse condition than described, say so โ the seller won't see your review until they've already submitted theirs.
Never Transact Outside the Platform
๐จ If a seller asks you to complete a transaction outside of CardNexus โ through PayPal, bank transfer, Discord, or any other channel โ do not do it. You will not be protected by CardNexus's escrow system, dispute resolution, or fraud detection. Scammers commonly use this tactic to bypass platform protections. Always keep transactions on the platform.
