Making an offer on a seller's cards

Propose a lower price from your cart — and what happens once the seller accepts.

Last updated 2 days ago

If a seller allows offers, you can negotiate the price of their cards instead of paying the listed total. Offers are made from your cart, per seller, and cover all of that seller's cards in your cart.

Where to find it

  1. Add the cards you want to your cart
  2. In the cart, each seller has their own section. Once your items from a seller reach about €20, a Make an offer button appears for that seller
  3. Below that amount you'll see "Add [amount] more from [seller] to be able to negotiate" instead

Sending your offer

Clicking Make an offer opens the offer dialog:

  • Pick one of the Quick offers or type your own amount — the dialog shows "You save [amount]" as you go
  • You can offer up to 40% off the listed total, not more
  • Optionally attach a short message for the seller
  • Click Send offer

You can send up to 3 offers in the same negotiation — the dialog tells you when you're on your last one. You can have one open negotiation per seller at a time.

While you wait

  • The cards move out of your cart while the offer is open
  • They stay listed for everyone else. If another buyer purchases them first, your offer is voided — you can make a new offer with whatever is left
  • Follow the conversation in the chat widget, under the Offers tab (on mobile: the Offers inbox)

The seller answers

  • Accept — the deal is on, see below
  • Decline — you can still buy at the listed price with Add all to cart at full price
  • Counter — they propose a price between your offer and the listed total. You can accept it, decline it, or send another offer

💡 Tip: Everything you added from that seller rides in the same offer — so finish picking their cards before you negotiate.

Your offer was accepted: you have 48 hours

The agreed cards are reserved for you for 48 hours — no one else can buy them. You'll see an Expires in countdown, and we remind you when 24 hours and 6 hours are left.

The cards drop back into your cart at the agreed price:

  • A "Negotiation deal applied" banner shows what you saved
  • Each negotiated line carries an Offer −X% badge, and the order summary shows a Negotiation discount line
  • The buyer fee is calculated on the discounted total — you never pay fees on the original price

Then check out as usual. A few things to know while the deal is in your cart:

  • Adding more cards from the same seller is fine — they join at their listed price. Buying more copies than agreed splits the line: the agreed quantity at the deal price, the extras at list price
  • Removing or reducing a negotiated line takes the whole deal out of your cart — you can add it back from your Offers tab any time before it expires
  • The seller repricing their listings never affects your deal, and a failed payment doesn't lose it either

If the 48 hours run out, the cards simply go back on sale — you can still buy them at the listed price or start a new offer.

💡 Tip: The reminders also go to your email and phone, so you won't lose a deal just because you closed the tab.
