Editing and deleting cards

Change quantities, conditions, finishes, printings and more from the row menu — plus the details dialog, keyboard shortcuts, and safe deletion.

Collections change: you trade a card away, upgrade a copy, or realize you logged the wrong printing. This article shows every way to edit a card in your inventory — and how to delete safely when it's time.

The row menu

Every product in your inventory has a menu (on its row in List layout, or on the card in Grid layout). It gathers all the quick edits:

💡 Tip: You don't have to aim for the little button — right-click anywhere on the row (or on the card in Grid layout) and the same menu opens under your cursor.

  • Add 1 / Remove 1 — adjust the quantity by one.

  • Add more — add several copies at once.

  • Delete all — remove the product from your inventory entirely (see "Deleting safely" below).

  • Change condition — pick a new condition for the copies.

  • Change finish — switch between the finishes available for that printing (Foil, Standard, etc.).

  • Change printing — move your copies to a different printing of the same card. The menu tells you how many printings are available. If your current language or finish doesn't exist on the new printing, CardNexus automatically falls back to the closest available option.

  • Change language — switch the language of the copies.

  • Edit graded product — for graded cards, update the grader, grade, certification number, or pictures.

  • View details — open the product details dialog (below).

  • View product page — jump to the card's full page with prices and printings.

  • Copy card name — copy the exact name, handy for searching elsewhere.

The product details dialog

View details opens a dialog with everything about that product in one place, across three tabs:

  • Collection — your copies, split into a My collection section and a For sale section. Each line of copies appears in an editable table where you can adjust quantity, condition, language, and more, line by line. Actions here include Stop selling this product and Remove from inventory.

  • Lists — which of your lists include this product.

  • Product details — the card's catalog information.

This dialog is the best place to fine-tune a product you own in several conditions or languages, since every line is editable side by side.

Editing the sell price inline

On the All my products and Marketplace views, the Sell price column is editable directly in the table — click the price, type a new one, and you're done. The minimum price is 0.01.

Keyboard shortcuts in Grid layout

Hovering a card in Grid layout, you can work without touching the mouse menu:

  • Alt+1 — add one copy

  • Alt+2 — remove one copy

  • Alt+3 — delete all copies

  • Alt+4 — list for sale, or edit the existing listing

  • Alt+5 — cancel the listing

Deleting safely

Deleting is permanent — there's no undo — so CardNexus always asks first.

  1. Choose Delete all from the product's menu.

  2. A confirmation dialog asks Delete from inventory?

  3. If you own several versions of the card (different conditions, languages, or finishes), the dialog instead asks Which product should we delete from inventory? so you can remove just one version — or use Delete all versions to clear them all.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Deleting removes the product from your inventory and takes down any active listing for it.

  • If you only want to stop selling a card but keep it in your collection, don't delete it — use Cancel listing (or Stop selling this product in the details dialog) instead.

  • To remove many products at once, select them and use the bulk Delete products action — see Bulk actions: edit many cards at once.

Good to know

  • Changing condition, finish, printing, or language never touches your sell price or listing status — your copies just carry the new attribute.

  • You can also change language and condition for many cards at once with bulk actions — see Bulk actions: edit many cards at once.
