What You Need
To sell on CardNexus, you'll need:
A CardNexus account — sign up for free at cardnexus.com
Cards in your inventory — import your collection via CSV import, text paste, or manual entry
How Selling Works
CardNexus is an inventory-first marketplace. That means your collection is your listing source — no need to re-enter card details on a separate selling page.
Here's the flow:
Add cards to your inventory — import or scan them in
List items for sale — select cards, set your prices, and publish
Your listings go live — buyers can find and purchase them immediately
When something sells, your inventory updates automatically — no manual bookkeeping
You don't need to complete full identity verification upfront. Individual sellers can start listing and selling right away — identity verification is required after your first sale, with 14 days to complete it. See seller verification for details.
Becoming a Seller
The first time you try to list a card for sale — whether from a product page or by selecting items in your inventory — CardNexus will guide you through a quick onboarding flow:
Pick your country — this is a critical choice, and the country you choose must match your account's location. Your country determines:
The currency your listings will be displayed in (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, SEK, DKK, NOK, PLN or HUF)
Your location shown next to your seller name on product pages
Your shipping rates (default rates are assigned based on your country)
Select your seller type — Individual or Professional (see below)
Tick the two confirmation boxes — required to continue
Right after, your personal details — first name, last name, and date of birth — are collected through Stripe's secure form.
Once onboarding is complete, your listing goes live and you're a seller.
Your country selection is permanent and cannot be changed later. Make sure you choose the right one — it determines your listing currency, shipping rates, and displayed location for all future sales.
Seller Types
Individual Sellers
This is the default path — designed for hobbyists and casual sellers.
Start selling immediately — no additional verification needed upfront
Identity verification is required after your first sale — you have 14 days to complete it
Perfect for selling off part of your collection or testing the waters
Professional Sellers
During onboarding, you can register as a Professional seller (for local game stores and professional resellers). Professional selling is available for sellers in the European Union — your company details are collected at onboarding, and business verification applies. Individual sellers can also upgrade to a professional account later from their settings. Professional selling is not yet available for North American sellers.
