Confirming Receipt

How to confirm receipt of your order, what happens if you don't, and how to report a problem.

The 7-Day Review Window

Once your order is marked as Delivered, a 7-day review window begins. During this time, you should:

  1. Inspect your cards โ€” check that you received the right cards in the condition described in the listing

  2. Verify the condition โ€” compare the actual condition to what was listed (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.). If you're unsure about conditions, check out Card Condition Explained.

  3. Confirm receipt or report a problem

How to Confirm Receipt

  1. Go to your Purchases page

  2. Find the delivered order

  3. Click Confirm Receipt

That's it! Once you confirm, the order is marked as completed and the seller receives their payout.

What If You Don't Confirm?

If you don't take any action within 7 days, the order auto-completes. This means:

  • The order status moves to Completed

  • Funds are released to the seller

  • The review window for leaving a rating opens

Don't sit on a delivered order if something is wrong. Once the 7-day window passes and the order auto-completes, it becomes much harder to resolve issues. Inspect your cards as soon as they arrive.

Something Wrong? Report It

If the cards aren't what you expected โ€” wrong card, wrong condition, damaged in shipping, or anything else โ€” don't confirm receipt. Instead, open a dispute before the review window closes.

Common reasons to report a problem:

  • Wrong item โ€” you received a different card than what was listed

  • Condition mismatch โ€” the card's condition doesn't match the listing description

  • Damaged in transit โ€” the card was damaged due to poor packaging

  • Missing items โ€” not all items from the order were included

  • Counterfeit โ€” you believe the card is not authentic

After Confirmation

Once the order is completed (either by you or automatically), both you and the seller are invited to leave a review. Reviews on CardNexus use a double-blind system โ€” neither party can see the other's review until both have submitted or the review deadline passes.
