Privacy Policy — TCG Stock Exporter

TCG Stock Exporter is a browser extension that lets you export your own trading-card stock from your marketplace account into a CSV file that you download to your own computer. It is a data-portability tool: it helps you get a copy of the data you already own.

What the extension does

• It runs only on your marketplace Stock pages, using your existing logged-in session, to read the stock listings that belong to you.

• It transforms those listings into a CSV file entirely inside your browser.

• It saves that CSV to your device via the browser's normal download mechanism.

Data we collect

None, apart from the CardNexus access token described under "Exporting from CardNexus", which goes only to the CardNexus API and only if you connect your account. The extension has no backend of its own and sends nothing to any third party.

• We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data.

• We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or fingerprinting.

• Your stock data never leaves your browser except as the CSV file you choose to download.

Exporting from CardNexus

The extension can also export your CardNexus inventory. To enable it, you connect your CardNexus account: the extension opens the CardNexus consent page in your own session, you approve, and the extension receives an access token scoped to your account and the approved permissions. That export then talks directly to CardNexus's public API (public-api.cardnexus.com), over HTTPS, only to read your own inventory and download the export file. The token is stored in your browser's local storage on your device and is never sent anywhere other than the CardNexus API it belongs to. You can revoke it at any time from your CardNexus Settings → Integrations. The extension's "Sign out" button deletes the token from your browser.

Local storage

The extension uses your browser's local storage only to:

• remember your preferences (e.g. the delay between requests),

• keep the progress of a long export so it can be resumed if interrupted, and

• hold the CardNexus access token from the account connection, on your device.

This data stays on your device. The only item that ever leaves it is the access token, sent to the CardNexus API as described above. You can clear it all at any time by removing the extension or clearing its site data.

Permissions

• Marketplace host access — to read your own Stock pages in your session.

• CardNexus API host access — to run the CardNexus export described above.

• Amazon S3 host access (*.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com) — to download the finished CardNexus export file, where CardNexus stores it, so it can be saved as a plain CSV.

• identity — to open the CardNexus consent page and receive the approval result when you connect your account. Nothing else uses it.

• storage / unlimitedStorage — local-only, for the preferences, resume state, and access token described above.

• downloads — to save the CSV you export.

• activeTab / scripting — to detect when you are on a Stock page and drive the export from the popup.

TCG Stock Exporter is published by CardNexus. It is not endorsed by or affiliated with any other marketplace it exports from; their names are used only to describe which sites the extension is compatible with.
