What is a Pro seller account?
Selling as a business on CardNexus — who Pro accounts are for, what you get, and what stays exactly the same.

If you sell trading cards as a business — a registered company, a sole trader, an auto-entrepreneur, a local game store — CardNexus has a dedicated account type for you: the Pro seller account. It gives you the things a business needs to sell compliantly, and it tells buyers they're dealing with a verified professional.
Who it's for
Pro accounts are for registered businesses only. If you sell cards from your personal collection, an individual seller account is the right fit — and you can switch to Pro later if you ever register a business (see Becoming a Pro seller).
Pro accounts are available to sellers in Europe, the United States and Canada.
What you get
A verified business identity. Your company name, registration and tax numbers (registration number and VAT number in Europe, EIN in the United States, Business Number and GST/HST number in Canada) and business address are verified through Stripe and shown to buyers on your profile, in an About {your username} panel.
A PRO badge next to your name on listings, in carts, on your profile and on your reviews, so buyers know at a glance they're buying from a business. Buyers can even filter search results by Seller type.
Your own legal policies. Upload your Terms of Service and your Return & Refund Policy as PDFs; buyers can download them from your profile. See Your business information and legal policies.
Monthly fee reports. Every month, CardNexus generates an invoice in your company name for the marketplace fees you paid, plus a CSV with the order-by-order detail for your accountant. See Fee reports: your monthly invoice and CSV.
Packing slips with your business details in the header, to print and slip into every parcel. See Printing a packing slip.
B2B treatment on CardNexus fees. Depending on your country, the tax on our fees (VAT in Europe, sales tax in the United States) is shown, reverse-charged or not charged on your monthly invoice, so you can account for it properly.
What stays the same
Fees. The commission is the same as for individual sellers — see Fee Structure Overview. There's no monthly subscription for a Pro account.
Selling and shipping. Listings, orders, shipping rates, payouts, ratings: everything works the way it does for every seller.
How you set your prices. In Europe, you set your prices tax-inclusive, exactly as before: CardNexus does not add VAT to your listings. In the United States and Canada, any sales tax due is calculated and added for the buyer at checkout, as it is for every seller.
What's on you
CardNexus is a marketplace, not your accounting department. As a Pro seller, you remain responsible for:
Invoicing your buyers. CardNexus does not issue invoices to buyers on your behalf. The packing slip is an order summary, not an invoice. The same goes for corrections: if you refund part of an order, any credit note your buyer needs comes from you.
Your tax obligations (VAT, sales tax, GST/HST) on the cards you sell. Our monthly fee report only covers the fees you paid to CardNexus.
Your legal policies. In many countries, professional sellers must provide terms of sale and a returns policy. Upload yours from your settings.
💡 Tip: Your fee reports and packing slips are the two things your accountant will ask for. Both are available from your account at any time — no need to request them from support.
