After Confirming the Order
Once you've confirmed an order, your next steps are:
Package the cards safely โ proper packaging prevents damage during transit
Ship with your preferred carrier โ any carrier works, as long as it provides tracking
Add the tracking number to the order on CardNexus
Adding a Tracking Number
After dropping off your package, go to the order in your Sales page and enter the tracking number. This:
Moves the order to Shipped status
Lets the buyer track the package in real time
Protects you in case of a dispute about delivery
Tracked shipping is required on CardNexus. You must provide a valid tracking number when marking an order as shipped.
CardNexus supports 1,200+ shipping carriers worldwide, so whatever service you use, we can track it.
Document What You're Sending
Before sealing your package, take photos or a video of the cards you're shipping. This protects you in case of a dispute โ you'll have evidence of exactly what you sent and its condition at the time of shipping. For expensive or large orders, a short video showing each card going into the package is especially valuable.
Packaging Tips
Trading cards are delicate โ here are the basics for safe shipping:
Use a toploader or card sleeve for individual cards to prevent bending
Wrap in a rigid mailer or between cardboard to prevent damage in transit
Use a bubble mailer or padded envelope for extra protection
Seal everything securely โ cards shifting around during transit is the most common cause of damage

Good packaging is one of the easiest ways to get positive reviews. Buyers notice when their cards arrive well-protected.
Shipping Rates
When you became a seller, default shipping rates were assigned based on your country. These rates are what buyers pay at checkout. You can customize them in your seller settings.
Shipping is calculated by zone and package size:
Package sizes (Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large) are determined automatically based on what the buyer ordered.
You can also disable specific zones if you don't want to ship to certain regions โ for example, disabling "Global" means your items won't appear for international buyers outside your region.
After Shipping
Once the package is on its way, you're done! Here's what happens next:
The buyer tracks the package from their side
Delivery is confirmed automatically via tracking data
The buyer has 7 days to inspect the cards and confirm everything is good
Your funds are released after the review period and settlement delay
