How CardNexus Protects Sellers
Selling on CardNexus is designed to be safe and fair — your payment is guaranteed before you ship, and disputes are handled with evidence, not instant chargebacks.

Your Payment Is Guaranteed Before You Ship
When a buyer checks out, their payment is captured immediately by Stripe. The money is held securely by the platform before you ever pack a card. This means:
You never ship without confirmed payment — no bounced checks, no "I'll pay when it arrives"
If the buyer tries to cancel after you've shipped, their payment is already locked in
You always know the money is there before you send anything
Key Protection: Unlike selling on social media or forums, you never have to trust that a stranger will actually pay. The money is already captured before you ship.
Fair Dispute Resolution — Not Instant Chargebacks
On some platforms, buyers can trigger an instant refund with one click, leaving sellers with no recourse. CardNexus doesn't work that way.
How disputes work for sellers
The buyer opens a dispute describing their issue (wrong item, damaged, etc.)
You get notified immediately and have the chance to review the claim
You propose a resolution — full refund, partial refund, no refund, or a return
The buyer reviews your proposal — they can accept or request something different
If you can't agree, the dispute escalates to the CardNexus team after 2 business days
Our team reviews evidence from both sides and makes a final, binding decision
You always get a chance to tell your side of the story and provide evidence (shipping photos, packaging receipts, screenshots).
Always take photos of your cards and packaging before shipping. Good documentation is your best protection if a dispute arises.
Evidence-Based Resolution
Platform-mediated disputes are decided based on evidence, not who complains first. Our team reviews:
Photos and descriptions from both buyer and seller
The original listing details and condition
Shipping and tracking data
Communication history between both parties
This means honest sellers with good documentation are well-protected, even if a buyer makes an unfair claim.
Once Funds Are Released, They're Yours
After your order is completed and the safety period passes, funds are transferred to your Stripe account. Once that transfer happens, the money is yours — it won't be clawed back by the platform.
Funds are released automatically after the order is completed and the settlement period passes. You don't need to take any action — it happens in the background.
Fraud Detection Protects You Too
Our automated fraud detection system doesn't just look for seller fraud — it also monitors for buyer abuse:
Fake disputes — patterns of buyers repeatedly opening disputes across multiple sellers
Account collusion — suspicious account activity suggesting coordinated abuse
Chargeback patterns — buyers who frequently dispute legitimate transactions
When our system flags suspicious buyer behavior, our team investigates before any funds are refunded.
Honest Reviews Without Retaliation
CardNexus uses a double-blind review system. After a transaction, both you and the buyer can leave a review — but neither side sees the other's review until both have submitted (or the 7-day review window closes).
This means:
A buyer can't retaliate against you for an honest review
You can't be pressured into leaving a positive review to avoid a bad one
Reviews reflect genuine experiences, not strategic behavior
Never Transact Outside the Platform
🚨 If a buyer asks you to complete a transaction outside of CardNexus — through PayPal, bank transfer, Discord, or any other channel — do not do it. You will not be protected by CardNexus's payment guarantee, dispute resolution, or fraud detection. Scammers commonly use this tactic. Always keep transactions on the platform.
