Signing up for CardNexus takes less than a minute — choose email, Google, or Apple to get started.

How to Sign Up

  1. Go to cardnexus.com

  2. Click Sign Up

  3. Choose your sign-up method:

    • Email — enter your email and create a password

    • Google — sign in with your Google account

    • Apple — sign in with your Apple ID

  4. Verify your email if you signed up with email (check your inbox for a confirmation link)

  5. You're in!

You can use the same account on both web and mobile — your collection, listings, and orders sync across all devices.

Setting Up Your Profile

Once you've signed up, take a moment to set up your profile:

  • Username — this is your public identity on CardNexus. Other users will see it on your listings, reviews, and profile page. Choose something you're happy with.

  • Display name — your optional display name shown alongside your username.

  • Avatar — upload a profile picture to make your profile stand out.

  • Country — select your country so sellers know where to ship and buyers can filter by region.

Choose Your Player Type

During onboarding, you'll be asked what kind of TCG enthusiast you are:

Best For

Player

You play TCGs and want to buy singles for decks and track your collection

Collector

You collect cards, track set completion, and monitor portfolio value

Investor

You focus on high-value cards and price movements

Professional Seller

You sell at volume — local game store or professional dealer

This helps CardNexus tailor your experience, but you can always change it later. Every user can buy, sell, and collect regardless of the type they pick.

Select Your Games

Pick the trading card games you're interested in (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Lorcana, and more). In the future, this will customize your dashboard, search defaults, and price tracking. You can add or remove games anytime from your settings.

Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 15 years old to create an account (or the age of legal majority in your country, if higher)

  • One account per person — multiple accounts are not allowed

  • Your account is personal and non-transferable

To sell on CardNexus, you'll need to provide your first name, last name, and date of birth during seller onboarding. No additional identity verification is required upfront — that only comes when you request your first payout. See Getting Started as a Seller for details.
